And for good reason, that’s where he lives with his partner Emelie Forsberg. Kilian Jornet has regularly made headlines by opening impressive lines on skis: because of their height and commitment, they are undoubtedly among the most impressive ski descents of recent years, at Fiva and Breitind. This is solo mountaineering, as Kilian told us in March.

On April 6, Kilian Jornet set out to ski the seven main peaks of the Romsdal Alps: Juratind (1,712 m), Store Vengetind (1,852 m), Kvandalstind, Romsdalshorn (1,550 m), Store Trolltind (1,788 m), Kongen (1,614 m) and Dronninga (1,544 m). These peaks are comparatively low in altitude to the Alps, but their starting point is often at zero altitude, that of the sea. In the end, the figures would make a hardened marathon runner dizzy: Kilian Jornet covered 76.5 km and 9,257 m of positive altitude difference in 21 hours and 28 minutes on skis or crampons.

[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][et_pb_row column_structure=”1_4,1_2,1_4″ _builder_version=”4.16″ max_width=”1200px” use_custom_width=”on” custom_width_px=”800px” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_column type=”1_4″ _builder_version=”4.16″ custom_padding=”|||” global_colors_info=”{}” custom_padding__hover=”|||”][et_pb_image src=”https://alpinemag.fr/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/strava-killian-jornet.jpg” title_text=”strava-killian-jornet” show_in_lightbox=”on” show_bottom_space=”off” align=”center” _builder_version=”4.19.0″ width=”100%” global_colors_info=”{}”][/et_pb_image][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.19.0″ text_font=”Merriweather|900|||||||” text_font_size=”16″ custom_margin=”||||false|false” border_style=”solid” saved_tabs=”all” global_colors_info=”{}”]
©Kilian Jornet / Strava

[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=”1_2″ _builder_version=”4.16″ custom_padding=”|||” global_colors_info=”{}” custom_padding__hover=”|||”][et_pb_image src=”https://alpinemag.fr/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/strava_jornet.jpg” title_text=”strava_jornet” _builder_version=”4.19.0″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][/et_pb_image][/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=”1_4″ _builder_version=”4.16″ custom_padding=”|||” global_colors_info=”{}” custom_padding__hover=”|||”][et_pb_image src=”https://alpinemag.fr/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/killian-jornet-strava_0.jpg” title_text=”killian-jornet-strava_0″ _builder_version=”4.19.0″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][/et_pb_image][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][et_pb_row _builder_version=”4.16″ max_width=”800px” custom_margin=”||||false|false” custom_padding=”0|0px||0px|false|false” use_custom_width=”on” custom_width_px=”800″ global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_column type=”4_4″ _builder_version=”4.16″ custom_padding=”|||” global_colors_info=”{}” custom_padding__hover=”|||”][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.19.0″ text_font_size=”16px” hover_enabled=”0″ global_colors_info=”{}” sticky_enabled=”0″]
Kilian Jornet was accompanied on some sections of his link-up, but he was the only one to have covered the whole.
