The trilogy of the North Faces of the Alps by Léo Billon and Benjamin Védrines: The Grandes Jorasses

This is the final stage of their trilogy, and fatigue is starting to show. In April 2025, over the course of five days, Léo Billon and Benjamin Védrines set out to conquer the North faces of the Alps. After tackling the Eiger and the Matterhorn, they now face the Grandes Jorasses. Their objective? The Walker Spur, via the Colton–MacIntyre route (Alexis variant—a bit steeper but in better condition at the time).

Over the course of the 20-minute episode, we follow the two friends during the approach (which Benjamin completes with a bike, a hike or ski touring) and then up the face itself, before the dreamlike paragliding descent. Stunning drone footage, helmet-cam shots on a steep route, and the camaraderie between the two athletes make for an unforgettable experience.
