    Née à la Réunion, Caroline Ciavaldini a découvert l’escalade à l’âge de douze ans. Elle a participé pendant dix ans au circuit de coupe du monde, passant son temps sur la résine. Après avoir réalisé ses rêves en compèt’ (1ère à Cham en 2011 entre autres), elle a radicalement changé en devenant l’une des spécialistes de l’escalade trad sur coinceurs et grande voie, encordée avec son compagnon James Pearson. Avec qui elle forme le duo Once Upon A Climb. ▶ Born in Reunion Island, Caroline Ciavaldini discovered climbing at the age of twelve. She participated for ten years in the world cup circuit. After realizing her dreams in competition, she radically changed by becoming one of the specialists in trad climbing on belays and long routes, roped up with her partner James Pearson, with whom she forms the duo Once Upon A Climb.
